Nadarivatu Training ( Savatu District) 4- 5th Aug'010.

Objectives:

The 7 group members from Savatu District representing Lewa, Marou and Naiyaca villages in collaboration with ADRA approached McKenezie Beelines , Rakiraki to facilitate the basic and essential beekeeping training. This is in response to the deteriorating condition of the 20 hives in each of this locations.

The management of MBCL approached BIC , Rakiraki to co-ordinate and facilitate the beekeeper's skills training. The follow-up training was than initiated by NCSMED(BIC-RA) this month to monitor the progress of the original seven(7).

It was a memorable day for the our "brother's & sisters" as they was exposed and introduced to beekeeping.

John Caldera is the leading trainer along with Waisake and Isimeli translating things into Fijian. Semi is the TEAM leader and Richard as the support services.
